For this one I wanted to try something different with a dotting tool than just plain dots and ended up making crescent/moon shapes instead.
I painted all nails except the ring fingers with Barry M’s royal textured glitter nail paint called Purple Countess. This is a beautiful purple with a mix of gold shades of glitter.
Then I painted the ring fingers with 2 coats of a gold foil nail paint.
To make the crescent shapes, I took a medium sized dotting tool and placed purple dots over the gold ring fingers.
Lastly, I then used the same gold as the base colour on a slightly smaller sized dotting tool. I placed the dots over the purple ones, but made sure it was placed off-centre to one side so that the one edge was overlapped by the gold. This gave the effect of crescent shapes.
