Blue Floral Lace Nails

I really like how the ring finger turned out on this design and it was relatively simple to achieve.

I started by painting all nails except the ring finger nails in 2 coats of a bright blue with a bit of shimmer in it. On the ring fingers I used 1 coat of a translucent nude shade to improve the overall look of the nail.

I then used a white stamping polish and a floral lace pattern from born pretty plate #bpl30. I stamped this over the entire of all the nails except the ring fingers. I cleaned this up and topped with a top coat.

On the ring fingers, I took some DIY masking tape and drew around the round edge of the bottom of my stamper. I then cut this out to make a curved edge. I used this to mask off a curved line on the nail. I then painted in the bottom of the nail in the same blue shade before removing the tape.

Then to finish off the design, I covered the curved line where the blue ends with rhinestones. I started with a slightly larger sized rhinestone nearer the base of the nail and gradually reduced the size as I followed the line.
